Melodifestivalen 2022: Deltävling 1 - Avicii Arena

I remember the hearts breaking across gaytopia when Charlotte was revealed not to have one last year. And look how that worked out! So it's okay, it's okay.

Yes but LA PERRELLI had GLITTER OCH GLAMOUR
Our's Shirl's going down the path of JACKIE GILLIES, trusting the angels :(

If Shirley just stands there singing with some beautiful white lighting to back her up (ala Nathalie or Sonja) I truthfully hope she’s cancelled for good.

If you’re competing for your 8th time you better bring some creativity to the song and/or staging.

Cancel culture really is getting out of hand these days :(

- It is a power ballad, and I have longed for it.

What exactly does Shirley need Sacha Jean-Baptiste for?

Very short clips with Swedes waffling all over them here.

Based on that, Robin and Theoz sound likely DTF, Omar and either Malou or Cornelia for AC.

Honestly though, is this the ”Shitley return to Melfest” you’ve been dreaming about?
Well look, clearly you just hate her for whatever reason if you're gonna call one of the loveliest entertainers in Melfest a silly name like that, so perhaps it's best you be quiet.

I was praying for Burning Alive II both in sound and success, but I feel I’ve been short changed. Luckily the rest sound a bit shit so there’s hope for her yet.

We’re not getting proper snippets until 19:00!!

Robin - It's current, it's also very bland. It sounds like the sort of thing that would come fourth in an Estonian national final and yet it's the great white hope of semi 1?

Obviously going DTF.

In conclusion, there's only one that deserves to make the final and I truly can't believe that they'd opt to kick off the year with such a parade of blandness.

Not sure where the 'Tell The World I'm Here' comparisons were coming from for Robin. Sounds more like a mix of The Weeknd and that Polish entry from last year.

I think Robin, Cornelia and possibly Theoz(!) are the best from those snippets.
