OMG, this just shows you that he doesn't get it, does he? I had to take a sneak peak (I usually avoid it), but no matter what you think about Loreen, her movements when performing are all very clean even when she improvises (and she does not improvise on her Eurovision performances - it's all carefully choreographed). This is just a drunk dude bouncing at the club. It's actually embarrassing. I don't think he should've waited until the week before to start rehearsing because it looks like a m e s s.

Also when the staging falls down, I’m sure that’s intentional but it sure doesn’t look it. Still, I suppose it it adds to the overall FEEL

Indeed. Dotter is a bit concerning but I'm even more worried about what's going with Danny.

Winning was Danny's thing; he always wanted to do his best. He used to be the apex of meticulous prep and here he is shrugging off dry runs just to come in and "wing it" like some random bro at a festival.

What's the gossip back home? Has he come down with a serious bout of dad brain?

Weirdly, I feel like I'm hearing and seeing more in Dotter than everyone else and I'm not a massive fan of the song :D It might just be because I'm suddenly seeing that she's quite fit this time round.
 
This will really be a test of whether Sweden are just voting by default for the biggest name as they seemed to do in the first two heats. On song/staging quality it should be Scarlet and Dotter, but Danny not winning/going direkt would be a major gag.

Johanna "Dotter" Jansson, 36, is ill and has lost her voice. Just one day before her competition in Melodifestivalen in Eskilstuna, the artist was forced to cancel the obligatory press conference with journalists.

She coughed and covered her throat before she was taken away by her team and competition producer Karin Gunnarsson. "Her voice has stopped. She has to get some tea now before the rehearsal, says Dotter's press contact Malin Wiklund. Several media outlets never got the chance to talk to the artist.

Also during Thursday's rehearsal, Dotter coughed and got throat lozenges on stage to be able to sing. Now she will try to talk as little as possible to make her voice last during the broadcast on Saturday.
 
I wasn't going to bother with the clips but couldn't resist checking out Danny's half arsed mess.

Rose Leslie's offering sounds like it will be much better than a song with that title has the right to be.

The Scarlet staging looks good and I'm hoping Circus X hangs together as a song.
 
Danny shouted “GOD I’M ATTRACTIVE” in the middle of his performance rehearsal today, and the word amongst those there is that his attitude is very much someone who has realised they’re not winning and is now just playing it all for laughs

If he did he not realise it when he sent in his (fun enough) 2013 EDM-pop bangerrrr, he's more deluded than Jenna Maroney BEFORE she released Muffin Top.
 
Dotter doing her most vocally exposed moment since Cry and then catching a heavy cold really is rotten luck. I hope we aren’t about to get another Med hjärtat fyllt av ljus moment.
 
I'm actually very excited for tonight for Scarlet, Lia and Danny related reasons.

Just watching the clips again and I'm truly at a loss as to why Albin elects to look like that. Is Weird Al Yankovic some sort of cultural icon in Sweden?
 
Watching this live for the first time since semi 1. Not a thrilling opening :( what happened to Charlotte Perrelli rewriting Helene Fischer (or indeed Charlotte Perrelli dueting with Dana International)
