Men Of R&B

I missed that Sekou released the second half of his mixtape last month. Not really feeling the Songbird cover, but otherwise this bodes very well for his 'proper' album, which he has been talking up too

 
oh I saw Sekou on Jools a few months back. he was great and Dangerous Lover pops. what should I cherry pick?

I've got the new Steve Lacy album on and it's quite groovy. lovely duet with SZA.
 
Never Gunna Give You Up and Catching Bodies are the other two big boppy ones from Sekou. Overall the first EP (second half above) is a bit stronger overall.

I've only listened to a few from the Lacy album, will have to listen further.
 
I really liked Sekou but I’ve now decided his voice annoys me :D there were a few tracks I did like though

Oh I'm loving Magnus Ferrell :disco: He's getting a lot of nepo-buzz so I'm kind of feeling sorry for all the other singers of his ilk doing the same thing without much success, but I am enjoying his brand of 70s pop soul very much.
