Moderation Requests

HI I don't know if posters on here are getting stupider or whether someone in the mod team thinks it is just really funny to make stupid typo edits in random thread titles - both are likely scenarios, let's face it - but can it stop? Either kick the stupid people out or moderator stop doing it, you're amusing NO ONE.
 
I thought that admittedly rather tiresome practice peaked out a couple of weeks back. Where is it now?
 
I've not been keeping an eye on it. Tell me a thread and I'll tell you who did it.
 
I just noticed Miley Cyrus' thread has been renamed. And I dunno if the Britain's Got Talent thread has been sorted yet but that's annoying.
 
I can't actually remember now, though I think the Moopyvision final thread might have been one of them. I haven't seen it happen recently though!

They both seem to have been started the way they are.

The Lady Gaga thread is pretty much out of control at 14 pages and no end to the album campaign in site yet.

Splitting is going to be tricky though as there seem to be single releases all over the shop with no real distinction between the phases of the campaign. However, the stuff for her live shows can definitely in a separate thread for starters.

Yeah I've been looking at that thread recently, I just don't know WHERE to start splitting.
 
I'd leave 1 & 2 together and just list the thread with the album title because having skimmed through it, it's not very clear what ends where. Posts about live performances (TV/gigs/etc) should quite comfortably fit into their own thread though.
 
I don't mind having a bash at trying to split, but you'll need to suggest where to start!
 
Just having a skim through right now and it shouldn't be too tricky. There's a clear start when everyone was just finding out about Just Dance, then the album launch, then the consequent singles. The live stuff is at the very tale end.

Loving reading everyone's first opinions of her stuff in retrospect :D

I really should stand for a modship on a unique thread splitting platform and do it myself :D

I don't think so... the only thing I can do is add questions, put a close date in or shut the POLE.

I think its to stop unscrupulous types doing private polls and then publicising them. This is with uber admin rights AND ALL too.
