It does feel a lot like corporate lip service. Thought Pride has been that way for a good few years now.

I’d much rather companies and organisations actually focused on creating positive, safe working environments for LGBTQ+ people than simply dabbing rainbows on everything.
 
I saw pride cards in Tesco today in place of Christmas cards and it's made me angry. Going after the pink pound is one thing, but commercialising it to the point of a "holiday" is beyond the pale.

Pride is a protest, eat the rich etc.

Though if we got an extra bank holiday I wouldn’t complain :D
 
I've emailed 10 schools and the replies are already coming back. I feel a mix of nervousness, excitement and amusement. Amusement as the last email referred to me as my mother's son which is accurate.

I did courgette, red pepper, red onion, baby leeks, asparagus. Grill the lot until charred and serve with a sauce made of parsley, evoo, garlic, lemon and a bit of sherry vinegar, the sauce complements the roastyness of the veg. We also do potatoes on the bbq which are well nice. Did a greek salad and made some halloumi burgers with red pesto and some of the aforementioned charred veg chucked on for the lols.
