Monday brings a heatwave

Not sure going to the gym and attempting leg day in this weather, after athletics related shit sleep and with no breakfast was my GREATEST idea :D

I am regretting my choices this morning. I can see a siesta on the horizon.

This is office is like a fucking greenhouse - sweltering. Not good.

I've just come to my mum's to sit in the shade in her garden, the heat actually hits you as you come outside, like when you get off a plane in a hot country. We are that hot country!

Apparently it's only 25 here and I was boiling. :o

I wouldn't cope with some of what's happening elsewhere.

We are at 30 now and it’s getting rather uncomfortable as I lay beneath a parasol with a sun hat and little else on sipping some SANGRIA.

We’re up to 36 in London, which is definitely uncomfortable but not unmanageable YET. Ask me again when I’m trying to sleep in 9 hours time.

Torn between heading downstairs to work from home in the air conditioned foyer, and staying in my flat to work from home in my pants.

I am OK so far with my fan going. Have to try and get to Kentish Town later though. Pray for me

We've just been downgraded to 29 today and tomorrow.

It's QUITE NICE from what I can tell.

BBC shows 39 in Ely. If true, that would be the UK record broken.
I wonder where they’re getting that from considering no official station seems to be above 35c/36c at the minute.

When you graduate is one of the options to be a weatherman, or do they not have a qualification?

Interesting. Probably some sort of computer modelling shenanigans going on.
