S'up?

Our main system is down and loads of big bosses are knocking about due to some conference or another. Joy.

Seems like a thing. Our entire network has been down today and non-customer facing staff have been told not to log on. So just spent all morning milling around.

Don't be silly. It will be 30 or 35 by the time you get there.

Unfortunately, we've been able to take things a certain distance so we were to do that and then catch up when it was all fixed. Which it is.

OFFICE SYSTEMS CHAT FORUM NOW

I'm working from HOME today and IF I CAN GET AWAY WITH IT most of the time as they've now stuffed SEVEN people in my office and I can't stick it when there's FIVE.

It’s my first day back after two weeks off

:( sums it up nicely

Well that's nearly my first day of work in two weeks finished. I want to go back to Antarctica.

The office CUNT just tried to be nice to me. what does she want, I wonder?*

*apart from to feast on my dead carcass, that is.

S'been a good day on campus. Progress with my dissertation, which my tutor sounded very partial to. Also discovered the chilli hot dog fried in hash brown potatoes.

In an effort to catch up at work boss's nephew has been in today doing some donkey-work bookkeeping for us. I've known him since he was little so boss asked if he could grab a lift home with me tonight (he lives a few streets away) so of course I said yes. Then I realised that I'd have to chat to him in the car so had to quietly ask the boss what his (nightmare) girlfriend's real name was because I couldn't very well call her Bitchface (the name we use for her in the office when we're slagging her off) to him. :D
