Morning. Here I am mooping away with my camera off whilst members of my team argue over something ultimately pointless.

Good morning! I'm not quite awake yet, had a terrible night's sleep but it can only get better from here :eyes:
 
This is the earliest I've been up in weeks. Somewhat concerned about waking up and getting up for work this week.
 
I am once again awake hours before I want to be for my reason
 
It's been snowing here, which is lovely.

But all I can see is a huge pile of dishes and vacuuming that needs to be done.

We never get snow in Portsmouth but it’s supposed to be sleety today. I’m mildly excited.
 
Snow can largely fuck off unless it’s November or December, which it NEVER IS
 
We will apparently get some at some point today but it’s meant to be SPARSE.

I LOVE IT. When it is actual snow and not slush, everything is still and untouched which I’m assuming is few and far between if you live in a city.

In New York, snow is so pretty for 30 seconds and then becomes disgusting. I feel like London would be the same

Yeah in London city centre it takes a lot for it to settle.
 
It's snowing here in my glamorous corner of zone 2 and a half but I doubt it'll stay.
 
There’s been a few flakes in the wind but nothing forecasted here, and considering I don’t finish work until 2am I’d rather not have the added stress of getting stuck.
 
We’ve had a snow warning ⚠️ so I expect a few flakes of snow and a whole load of NOTHING.
 
And ALMOST ON CUE the weather report has suddenly updated to NO SNOW WHATSOEVER for down here.

It just NEVER (well, very rarely) snows here. :(

Our forecasts are being a bit maybe-maybe not which I don't think is the point of a forecast. As long as it's not the BEAST FROM THE EAST again, we'll take "have yr boots on standby".
 
Having said all of that, it's suddenly gone SUPER DARK here and feels either STORMY or SNOWY, so FINGERS CROSSED.

I went to Sainsbury's at lunch and bought a couple of bottles of red wine JUST IN CASE WE GET SNOWED IN :disco:
