Just waited 40 minutes to cancel my pension payments because I have moved to the company pension. Only 2 people ahead of me and 3 counters, shouldn’t take long. Except after 2 of the counters finished their customer, they closed. And one person referred by another desk could jump the line.

Finally someone deigned to speak to me and tell me I should go to the adjacent department thank you bye.

I’m also on annual leave as I should be in Riga but have had to cancel thanks to the isolation rules and needing to be out and about tomorrow, so I am going to make the most of the day once I’ve shaken off this hangover and get some “me time”, catch up with my hobbies and generally look after myself mentally.

I went to the doctor, she said it's an inflammation in my upper respiratory, asked me if I have had any Covid-like symptoms and prescribed an antibiotic and an antihistaminic.
She said it can take 10 days till the inflammation clears out but I will start to feel better before that. I really hope she's right cause I feel like shit and not in the good Martha Skidd way.
