Monday is ready for the weekend

I'm actually cold in the office today. They've obviously been relying on the greenhouse effect for heat and now that its grey* skies, we're all frozen.

(*light grey but grey nonetheless)
 
Though it seems today is only a TEMPORARY BLIP and we're back in the 20s tomorrow here. :disco:

It's really quite warm here still. Lovely bright sunshine and I'm a sweaty mess after walking into work.

On our way to Wales.

Islanders are currently in an absolute MELTDOWN today because one of the main roads is closed for 2 months for roadworks, so there's a 4 mile diversion.

Apparently, at 8.30am on a Monday, there's a traffic jam and delay and it's ABSOLUTE CARNAGE. Forget the fact that it's rush hour 🤦🏻‍♀️
 
Still tits out up north. I’m sat at my sunny writing window and not writing because its too sunny.

I'm flying back to the UK today so if these storms could hold off until after I've landed, that'd be much appreciated.
 
Is it a NAMED STORM? I have to say that's BYPASSED ME ENTIRELY.
 
I must say, this spring has been over all a great SUCCESS compared to the last couple of years.

There isn’t really a fun rock entry this year in the vein of Finland 2023 and Croatia 2024. Portugal had a very good one (Henka - I May Destroy U) but they chose some boring shit instead because they are idiots.

Sweden is the novelty adjacent one which is probably going to do very well. Albania is the best one. Finland is still probably the closest to a fun rock entry, but it’s much, much more pop than that.

There really isn’t a Blood and Glitter. The guitar songs are all a bit earnest. Which is odd, given how ridiculous many of the pop songs are.
