Thankfully I woke up at 7.29 this morning, which was great as I could turn off my 7.30 alarm.
 
How does Instagram know what aftershave I wear and target me with adverts for it?!? I have never even bought the aftershave myself, it’s an annual gift from my parents?!?
 
I literally asked at work if one of our systems could be updated to include ONE TEXT BOX to show ONE LETTER and I appear to be invited to an HOUR LONG meeting to PRESENT MY IDEAS TO A BOARD about it. It was just an enquiry, I won't bother next time!

I’ve uncovered that my new job HR Manager is just lifting policies she’s supposed to be writing off free internet template sites and I’m not sure whether that’s an issue.

I mean, loads of it is utter shit and I’ve had to rewrite, which will mean a word at least, but I’ve pretty much done the same in the past, but at least I bother to change it a BIT!
 
I'm feeling awfully lost without the Tusk online festival. It really did take over my life incredibly quickly and gave me such a huge amount of joy. I guess the usual 3-day live event is such a quick hit but so much amazing stuff spread over a whole fortnight...well, I feel a bit empty.

festival blues is definitely a thing, I get it every time, almost no matter how good it was (or how much I can actually remember). there's a very comforting sense of community. so yeah, one is bound to feel a bit bereft when the plug's pulled and there's a whole calendar to rip through till next time...

Yeah I'm fairly certain I'm going to have to justify it from a BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE when I really don't care. It's just one letter that will help, not a deal-breaker whatsoever. It's a load of red tape for the sake of red tape. I feel like I'll be made to feel silly for bringing it up.

It will at least be an insight into their process for change requests.

Anyway enough about work. WHAT THREAD IS NANCY GOING TO POST TODAY?

This is it. I've definitely had it from meatspace events but I didn't think it was possible on an online event and yet, here I am.
