Howdy.

I'm back in the office and I cannot be doing with it. Someone left a load of shit on my desk (not literally) and our best team member has been poached by another department. Grrrrr.

MORNING

I had a TERRIBLE night's sleep. Went to bed at 8 to try and get over this jet lag/ tiredness/ post- holiday GLOOM and woke up at midnight and basically THAT WAS IT. I've got an all day meeting with some BIGWIGS that I could frankly do without and FUCK KNOWS how I'm going to manage.

BAH.

Full moon, innit? I felt like I catnapped last night as well.

I'm supposed to be moving back to my old office this week :(

If anybody asks me what I think about the refurbishments I'm going to say "IT'S PROBABLY BEST NOT TO ASK" :D

I was summoned to move a carpet there last week and it was all MIND THE NEW PAINTWORK. I can't face it, it's going to be PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE POST-IT NOTES GALORE :manson: It's an OFFICE not your fucking GRACIOUS DRAWING ROOM, although considering you seem to do similar amounts of work (i.e. NONE) in both I can SEE HOW YOU MIGHT GET CONFUSED

ANYWAY I do like how old DISCO HITS seem to be the CHOIX DU JOUR for PIPED MUSIC while shopping these days. I was just getting down to DISCO INFERNO in Wilko's and yesterday it was LE FREAK in the supermarket. It's a wonder the aisles aren't blocked with people CUTTING A RUG

In Glasgow, they just get down and get funky. It sounds endearing but at 9.30am in Asda on a Sunday, it's rather disconcerting.

Hi moopy. I'm off work this week as I had holiday to use and I'm already bored. I had planned on going for nice walks but the weather has ruined that :(

GOD I hate people who have holiday and then get bored.

I COULD DO WITH A PERMANENT HOLIDAY.

It's because no one else is off. I've already had 3 proper holidays and got another in a few weeks. This is a random one because I paid for an extra week. I won't be doing that again.

I've worked out I'll need to take every third day off until the end of January to use up my holiday entitlement

If I WORK AT HOME and SWAP SOME WEEKDAYS FOR WEEKENDS I could NOT SHOW MY FACE IN THE OFFICE FOR MONTHS :disco:

I love time off by myself. What a TREAT it is.

I do as well. But I have Wednesday and Fridays off to myself every week. I imagine working full time like you do, a few days off alone is a luxury.

I bought some of THESE while GROOVING in WILKO

I didn't know you could still get them :disco: although they have CHANGED THEIR SHAPE

Good day, it’s such a dark rainy day here, I have no energy for anything. Send help!

Uh-oh, my furniture moving SKILLZ are required this afternoon. If MADAM starts trying to SUPERVISE ME I am going to DECK HER SO HELP ME KYLIE

I LOVE being at home alone. And I don't resort to This Morning.

In honour of the thread title I received a tax code notification from HMRC this morning for a client's employee. The employee's middle name is Shiobhan. Illiterate parent really wanting Siobhan registered the birth maybe?
