Morning. Was up a wee bit too late watching footage of the fire in the centre of Glasgow. The usual conspiracy theories abound but it looks like a dodgy vape shop went up and after the fire was 'out' a few overheated lithium batteries exploded with the heat and restarted it.

I know I use a vape but honestly time limit the amount of shitty ugly dangerous vape shops.

They don't know yet but it's consistent with lithium ion batteries exploding. If they had a whole stash of them altogether, the heat and intensity would be have been intense.

They had fire crews in the station itself in case anything started. Really scary.

No, it's the building that includes the blue lagoon, which is thankfully not fully connected to Central

Sad for the building next door, but pleased the station survived. It's probably one of my favourite UK stations I've been to, mainly due to the charming wooden aesthetics. I'm sure I'm not alone.
