Monday - Part 1 - Viewing Party

ugghhhhh not only do I have to work on Monday (usually it’s my day off because I work Saturdays), but some twat got injured at a train station so I’m stuck doing this bonkers round the houses route rather than my company cancel the lesson. I think I’ll get there rather late but I’ve been asked to extend it to the full time anyway.

I need a wee, and a sandwich, which I was planning when I arrived at the station, but I won’t be able to do that now
 
I can't be bothered with work today, but there is a chance we can get a few days of WFH later in the week if we get everything cleared :eyes:

Our work homepage has the latest inpatient deaths and infections and patients on mechanical ventilation.

It really doesn’t help get you motivated when you see that day in, day out.
 
It's blue Monday, which is mostly exciting to have a day named by a defunct sky channel.

I have 30 meetings this week. It's almost like they don't want me to do any actual work.
 
I’m trying to get some work done in the kitchen but my mum is insisting on having a 20 minute conversation with the DOG.
 
Sat in with Ron Jr on school duties this morning. I can see why the kids are getting stressed, Microsoft Teams isn't designed for this shit. He's using a laptop and an iPad, so there really is going to be some significant class divide on the kids that come out of this OK.

It's crazy that they are attempting to try and forces schools to continue with the full curriculum, we've busted it down to focus on Maths and English as a priority. Fuck the Egyptians. He can google that if he wants to know it.

It's tough though isn't it? I don't know what an alternative would be. The schools are trying to do their best, I've seen loads get sh*t because they're not sending out enough stuff for the kids too. Just do your best, at this age I'm sure they'll pick up what they've missed very quickly.

this really worries me. It’s already hard enough for poor kids to get ahead. This will all just make it even worse :(
 
Also, I know this is a silly thing to say, and I'm sure you're not, but try not to be too negative about it all infront of little big ron junior. I worry sometimes that kids pick up on their parents vibes and get more stressed.
 
NAR but,

I'm trying to get a nice photo of Kylie and Dannii for the grandparents. It's literally impossible. We took some yesterday but one or the other is always looking away. Is there such a company that can take two photos and just photo shop the head of one onto the other?
