I suggested going first class as it's my birthday AND I MAY NOT HAVE MANY MORE, but APPARENTLY that's a waste of money :evil:

He's paying for The Ivy for lunch because of that
 
I've been in first class in recent years. It's not that life changing.

On the new local trains, there a table and charger for every seat. I don't really need free biscuits, newspaper and water.

I went first class to my mum’s the other day because it was only £2 extra. Worth it for a comfier and quieter seat.
 
Incidentally, that business about lunch at The Ivy was a joke, but I have literally just booked it :D

And I fully intend going A LA CARTE :disco:
 
It is bastard freezing in this office. We're clearly cutting energy costs by freezing the arse off half the building at a time - just when hypothermia kicks in, they flick the switch and change who gets warmth.

I went to Nara today to see the Wisteria and the deer, very nice. Irritated that my weather app all-but-confirmed it was going to have times of heavy rain so I lugged my umbrella along and NOTHING!
 
Last day of the holidays for me and many teachers.

I've honestly only found myself rested the last few days. Mind you it's another bank holiday soon.
 
I have a slightly pink nose after a BBQ yesterday. It was on the cusp burning, but I think I've saved myself from four classes of laughter from teenagers tomorrow.

IT WAS OVERCAST! Very deceptive!
