We had the brochures but somehow NEVER WENT.

My parents were just a bit SHIT at holidays. I didn't go abroad until I was at secondary school.

Five trips to FUCKING BOURNEMOUTH put a stop to anything remotely exotic.

We never had foreign holidays either but we did go to Butlins two or three times which was the ACTUAL BEST THING EVER at the time.

It's not like our holidays were BAD and I have mostly good memories but I think they were a mix of selfish, snobbish and lazy with their choices.

We went to Centre Parcs once, but chubby old 12yo me got around the walking/bike everywhere rule by getting lifts off my dad's friend, who was allowed to take a car in due to being disabled (allegedly from being shot in the leg by well-known Glaswegian gangster Paul Ferris, though that might have been apocryphal). Also the lifejackets for swimming were too small and made me look like I had an enviable cleavage

Debs and her father ran a string of arcades sited on holiday camps all the way from MINEHEAD to WEYMOUTH. They used to mainly employ STUDENTS and EX-CONS. What could possibly go wrong.

Yeah I have Diana Ross tickets and find it odd it hasn’t been cancelled/re-scheduled yet.

Oh I just got an email from the Hydro saying it's been postponed to 2021. They don't have a date yet though.
