Monday sucks and blows at the same time

Back at the office and everyone is awfully quiet and grumpy, well beyond the usual "Monday feeling".

I wonder what this lot would be like if there was some sexual tension...

I've gone from about 3% functionality yesterday to about 65% today. So that's a step in the right direction.

Currently working my way through the breakfast buffet at this hotel, I normally just have a weetabix at home so this is a RARE TREAT.

Hotel breakfasts are wasted on me. I'm just not up to eating that much first thing. But then by mid morning I'm ravenous.

The only time I've ever eaten hotel breakfasts was when I stayed in a hotel for a week in Italy

Otherwise I just can't face it. Or more importantly ANYONE

My last hotel breakfast was in a Travelodge in Coventry about 10 years ago. The scrambled egg put me off the entire shooting match so I just had cereal. Luxury is wasted on me.

I rather enjoy a nice continental breakfast away. Pancakes/croissants, fruit, fruit juice.

As a Yorkshireman, an included hotel breakfast is perfect for eating all the food so I don't have to buy any food for the rest of the day.

It was great! Very nice guy, handsome and we had lots to talk about. Apart from the fact he was an immigrant from London so I never got the full Dundee accent experience, he treated me like a perfect gentleman. Also he was 6'5" and quite big-boned () so I felt like even more of a dwarf than usual

Oh I totally do. I don't eat as much as others in one sitting so I'm just taking what I'm owed.

I usually take a piece of fruit. Or occasionally a pastry. It's sitting there making rolls for later where I draw the line.
