What we DO know is that prospective ADMINS should present a manifesto for the citizens of moopy in this thread, explaining why they are the perfect poster for the job. From these manifestii, we will elect THREE new administrators to oversee the 0s and 1s that power this glorious longe forevermore. Or until the next election.
BUT WAIT, I hear you cry. What the FUCK does an admin do around here exactly?
An ADMINISTRATOR is like the gatekeeper to Moopy who holds the keys. Amongst other things, they can:
Turn Moopy on/off
Install forum upgrades
Talk to the server hosts, fix issues like downtime and access problems
Change the structure of the forums, colour schemes, add new forums, change banners
Access the backing database and root forum code
+all the stuff a moderator can do
IMPORTANT NOTE: Anyone can be an administrator. Technical knowledge is useful, but absolutely not essential.
Do you have a burning desire to delete the internet and sit in the dark? Will you provide the people with updates on WHO edited WHAT? If so, please post your manifesto here no later than 23.59 pm on Tuesday, 22nd September 2026.
We are looking to fill THREE positions. If there are more than three candidates, it will go to a vote. If the same three admins are the only nominees, we will go to a vote of confidence. The end.
