Moopy Dance Anthem Rate 2020 - SEMI-FINAL 1. RESULTS 8:30PM

After a thrilling nomination process, we've produced a shortlist of 400 candidates for the title of Moopy's Greatest Dance Anthem (and still didn't find room for two of the top ten from the 2015 rate).

Now it's time to start separating the wheat from the chaff, the Maria Rubias from the Sue Brices. To that end, we have FIVE fabulous semi-finals planned, each containing 80 songs apiece. It's your job to pick the top 40 from each one to take through to our fabulous gala final on the (TBD) of (MONTH).

How it's going to work:

- DM me your list of up to 25 selections from the list below.
- Each nomination will count as ONE point for that song. However, you are allowed to give bonus points should you wish to. You can give up to:
5 x 5 points
5 x 4 points
5 x 3 points
5 x 2 points
- Of course, if you want to give 24 songs one point each, and just one song five points, that's perfectly fine.

You have until 12pm on Friday 29th May to send me your picks. At 8pm that same day, charge your glasses and join me for the drunken results show, featuring celebrity guests and a YouTube playlist of all the songs that have made it through.

There are some BRUTAL decisions that need to be made in this semi. I did almost go for a flat 'just pick the 25 you like most', but I think a points system was necessary to try and offset tie break situations.
