So this virus helped Italian "band" Corona to get quite a few votes, but it wasn't enough to beat legendary Dutch duo 2 Unlimited. Nice list of artists, with hot female singers like Whigfield and Kala's favourite Gina G. And I have to say, fabulous Black Box had their best year in 1989 (didn't they have the biggest selling single that year?), so it wasn't exactly 90s (in Europe).

Fuck sake I second guessed myself. I thought more people would say corona so I changed my guess from 2 unlimited. :(

This was also very close, but Like a Prayer JUST beats Ray of Light. And even when she's a greedy bitch these days, you can tell she was very successful for so many years, decades. Amazing.

It was obviously going to be between these two years. I went for the one I was alive for.
 
The pinapple, the jail and the fucking monkey really ruined me.

My Madonna knowledge extends as far as being pretty sure the Power of Goodbye came out in 1998 because it's one of the few I actually like. That pointy old crone has finally come up trumps.

So I tried something different here, just for a change. And even when there wasn't a massive answer, most people had a coincidence with someone else. I put together the words with the same root, common sense. And yes, some people didn't describe the scene and just said "mirror", but it worked. Also loving the 3 "shit" answers!
Oh, and someone said pass, but I still count that as an answer, why not?
 
In my mind there were too many years in the 80s and 90s to choose from so everyone was going to flock to "Hung Up" instead :cry:
