MOOPY INDOOR SCAVENGER HUNT - TEAMS AND ROUND ONE!!

So how are we doing this tomorrow, octy? Do we have to post everything in this thread at 5 pm? Are you going to check the secret forums tomorrow and do the reveal yourself for the rest of the teams?

Aye, let's get this set up.

ALL TEAMS MUST POST THEIR SUBMISSIONS FOR ROUND ONE IN THIS THREAD BY 5PM TOMORROW UK BST. So give yrselves a few minutes grace and don't run down the clock trying to post at 4.59 and 59 seconds.

INCLUDE YOUR TEAM NAME IN THE POST i.e. "These are from Team Seven and we're called INSPECTOR GADGET'S NIPPLE CLAMPS"

YOUR ANSWERS MUST BE IN ONE POST AND IN ORDER i.e. item one first.

I WILL THEN BEGIN PUTTING THE SCORES TOGETHER AND I WILL INVITE RITA TO JUDGE HER QUESTION AS AGREED.

I hope to post the results tomorrow night and up Round 2 on Wednesday.

Oh crap, if we had called ourselves Inspector Gadget’s Nipple Clamps do we now need to rename?

Any extra points for beating the illiterate other teams by posting our stuff first :)

These are from Team Three and we're called THE SOLARIUM ADDICTS

Six different handwritings on those items from a five member team?

I CRY FOUL PLAY!

* Team Five Enters*
Our name is Los fanáticos de Ruth Lorenzo, and we have something to say:

1) - a yellow item of clothing

IZMqfEh.jpg

2) - a pen that writes in any colour other than black, blue or red.

GHJelwfl.jpg

3) - a vinyl record in a colour other than black.

Alla's grandad was a vet, and he had these lovely crappy records of spoken words and birdsongs.

4) - a carrier bag from a retailer other than a supermarket

Proof that we recycle and reuse :)

5) - an ugly holiday souvenir

iHpeBmLl.jpg

His name is Tequila Goreela, he used to sing 'Tequila' and wiggle about a bit. Despite his very obvious Mexican styling, I got him from Spain. Being an ignorant seventeen year old scally, I had no idea this isn't what Spanish people look like.

6) - Find a picture of Bob Dylan looking totally confused.

7) - something you would struggle to explain to your parents.

Alla has the nicest friends.

8) - An old magazine.

@Raining On Me found this softcore rhythm magazine in the loft of a house he moved into. 1973 MUTHAFUCKAZ.

9) - A piece of Spice Girls memorabilia

10) - a book that has won an award

I think we were slightly hamstrung on the Spice Girls one. By some fluke we were the only possible combination of five Moopy posters to not have so much as an Emma Bunton mouse mat between us.

How is a cd not memorabilia, are you for real?

You accepted a BOOK as memorabilia 2 years ago in MoopyFate, so a cd has to count. Case closed :disco:

It is memorabilia - especially since you have a few grouped together.

Perhaps not what was in mind but the question didn't say "excluding CDs" etc

That Mis-teeq vinyl :D Struggling to comprehend that for a group like them in 2001

All yours for about 2 quid on Discogs too :disco:

Especially the rare cardboard limited edition of Mama/Who do you think you are featured in that photo, if that is not memorabillia I don't know what it is, to be honest.

Would you call a can of coke memorabilia? NO!

Would you consider a coca cola branded key ring, book or post card to be memorabilia? YES

A CD or a can of coke is the main product of a brand NOT memorabilia.

CASE CLOSED.

As an impartial observer with no affiliation to team 5, I'd say CDs are definitely memorabilia and should in face receive bonus points.
Just in case THIS TOSH gains traction, BT is Team 5 and is quite clearly more BS than BT.

Would you call a can of coke memorabilia? NO!
Would you call a limited edition can memorabilia? Yes. Our collection of cd singles includes a rare cardboard limited edition, so it is. Case closed.
