Many of us can't sing but would relish the opportunity to PERFORM.

I have too much Moopy stuff on at the moment to run it. If someone wants to pick it up after the Masked Singer, be my guest!

I may change my mind! I don't know what it is, but people watching my face intently puts me off. At least with singing you can be stupid with it. I'm probably overthinking it. I need to think.
 
I would NEVER film it, but I had to stop and do an OTT It's All Coming Back To Me Now lip sync performance recently when it came on the radio.

In my mind it's an extra chance to indulge the props and stunts that have become so familiar with the karaoke contest, except without the vocal display.

Maybe it’s because I’m a terrible singer, but that makes me so much more nervous than miming!
 
Just realised all of my karaoke videos have been lipsync performances technically, as I prerecord the song then do the video later. If there's ever a point with a weird cut to something (such as the DEAD PUPPETS in the Halloween one) it's usually because I've fucked the lipsync up too egregiously :D

I do the singing because I know I'm a pretty good singer. Less inclined to enter into a LEVEL PLAYING FIELD :D

Also lip syncing just isn't my thing really!
