So my gut instinct is that dmlaw said not all roles would be random. Based on past performance, you'd be daft not to assign Penelope a role as mafia for sheer entertainment.

Now we're down to the wire alliances have to be clear, and you've made yours. I may get lynched, but I'll die knowing I'm right.
 
Don't forget Suomi knew EVERYTHING I DID. In fact he told me who the detective was.

As if him and Pen aren't in cahoots.

I’ve watched How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days fifteen times already. It’s absolute shit but I can’t be arsed floating all the way to the next cinema in this weather.

HERE’S WHAT I KNOW:

I was a GUARDIAN ANGEL.

I told Ag as I believed he was a villager.

He told GNL.

I then told Soldi, Suomi and Rita in a group chat.

The first person I chose to protect after revealing myself was ME.

Nobody died that night.

As soon as I couldn’t protect myself I died.
