Moopy Roll Call! Where do you live?

Oh thank God, Nuneaton feels quite nice by comparison now.

Bloody hell we’re so international!

@ButterTart Nuneaton is a very important RAIL THOROUGHFARE! I’ve passed through hundreds of times. Can’t stay I know what it looks like beyond platform 4, however.

I moved from Oval to Camberwell in 2009-10. It wasn’t very nice at all. Has it improved?

Oval is a total nothing place so Camberwell is a big improvement. Where in oval and camberwell did you live?

Used to live in Oval opposite the Europcar. That was noisy as hell there!

Camberwell can be noisy but the main crossroad junction is right near the hospital so does have a tonne of police and ambulance traffic

The town centre is pretty decent now to be fair. Loads of good pubs and restaurants and constantly new places opening. They are knocking down the supermarket area with a revamped shopping centre with cinema and hotel in the coming years

My first night there having just moved a mile down the road was nothing but police sirens. There were quite a few stabbings around the area just after I left too.

I live in a new build but the estate it knocked down was one of the worst in the country. There was a disembowelling from some gang violence a few years ago. Fun

Also SILK ROAD :disco:

I have actually never been! Walked in ages ago and realised it was cash only but also everything on the menu was 2 chillies or above. Too hot for me

FM mangal across the road though is amazing. They serve the bread after it’s been cooked underneath all the meats so it’s all soaked up with their juices

Oval was fine. It was one of the side streets just off the main Clapham Road, but was a mere walk away from the tube station so I didn’t really socialise around there and just went to Brixton to shop. I do remember the area around Denmark Hill being quite nice, but I was closer to Walworth on a scabby estate. Cheap as chips rent at the time though.

The brown derby was a nice pub and not too far to walk to the RVT or The eagle. The Cock has now opened as well so spoilt for choice for gay bars

Walworth - yeah that’s rough!! If I need to go that way I go up the back streets, really busy all the time especially up Near East Street

Never thought I'd say this but I'm craving some London time because of this thread.
