Moopy Upgrade - Snagging List

Would people be sorry to lose these scroll arrows? I keep accidentally clicking them, especially when they hover over the post reply like so:

I think I've found them handy, but haven't lived without them since they've arrived.
 
They do disappear, it's just me pressing the button too soon.

Like everything, I can live with it and will get used to it. Just wondered what other opinions were.
 
Is it possible to get the number of replies and views on the thread list to show the exact number rather than rounding to 1K, 2K, etc on the larger threads?
 
I like the scroll buttons, but I've seen forums that have them in the top bar instead of at the bottom. Maybe that's a potential fix?
 
Done with the snogging list now where is the shagging list?


the arrows are fine here. Less useful on iOS where you can jump to top already but useful on android

It's coming back, our server needs an upgrade first (or rather, we're moving to a new, upgraded server) and it's in progress.
 
Since we have a wonderful new GIF option in the posts, should moopy open a GIPHY account for specific Moopy interest GIFs which are not on GIPHY as of yet (Housewives, Melodifestivalen/Eurovision, TV, Music etc.)?

I'm doing a fair amount of Photoshop/GIF/GIPHY stuff for work - this wouldn't be added cost for anyone but e.g. if you have youtube moments that you would like to be added to make life on Moopy easier/more fun, this would be an option. Request the moment in a thread and a few of us will take care of gif-ing, uploading to giphy, and tagging as it makes sense.

Just a suggestion.

@Moderator - if you feel this merits a separate thread with a poll, please go ahead but since it relates to the forum upgrade, I thought I'd start here.

I see absolutely no reason why not. Doesn't even need to be a moderator/admin thing. Just crack on.
 
Oh... I found a legit query. In the jukebox thread, I can't see the time people posted, only the date. Whereas in this thread I see both. Mobile site, thankee.

I think times were lost for anything over a week ago even before the upgrade. I don't think this is a new thing.

I might be misremembering. We will find out on Tuesday.
 
Is there a way of searching your private messages? I'm sure there must be but I've never worked it out. I want to dig up some old dirt.
 
Bit mean of them to charge extra for that feature. I'd have thought it was pretty standard for 2021 in the world of WhatsApp etc!
 
It's someone else that has made the addon, and to be fair, they have a whole suite you get access to for $35.

It should be an inbuilt feature though, I agree.

However every time I go to post it says OOPS! there's been a server error, but then posts anyway? Is this just the new way of doing things around here?

No, this seems to have been something that's gone wrong when I installed the improved search addon. All blame to @Iguana please.
 
Ok, so I am having a nightmare with the search database now. The addon broke it in some way, and now I am getting errors trying to restore it.

Worst case scenario, search may be broken for a few days.
