Moopy's Greatest Dance Anthems: Semi 2 Results Gala. 9pm TONIGHT

Another one that came as a surprise qualifier to me: Captain Hollywood Project - More and More.

This came 33rd.

DESERVEDLY! I also love ‘Impossible’, ‘Flying High’ and (especially) ‘I Need A Lover’. FANTASTISCH :disco:

Another one that doesn't seem to have grasped the idea that videos uploaded to YouTube should be of sufficient quality for people to be able to see and hear them.

Sonique - It Feels So Good. This struggled to pick up points in the early showings, but eventually slid in at number 28.

I enjoy this week's Cappella track more than their big hits too. I hope it makes it through.

When it comes to Sonique I prefer the follow-up, almost identical but slightly superior Sky.

Sonique filled that gap between Mel C and Alice Deejay. It was only a matter of time. And time was not on her side: 2 and half singles to be precise.

I don't like It Feels So Good. Sky is my Sonique song of choice and I don't think we even nominated it.

How could you not find the video for Rihanna!

Anyway, nice to see something more modern for us cool young kids eh @Soldi :disco:

We're half way through now, and we're giving a cursory nod to a song that was released this millennium.

In at no. 13: Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris - We Found Love.

It was maybe as much as 2 years before I properly heard We Found Love. Boy was i missing out. Calvin Harris really was the follow-up to JX.

Apologies for my absence, otherwise engaged. I have looked ahead at the playlist and its fucking blinding. Well done Moopy.

I refused to give this points because the bastards upstairs were blasting it while I was trying to enjoy last week's dance finalists :(

This song reminds me of when I used to work in the kitchen at the Waldorf pub in Manchester city centre. What a dive.
I don't think I've ever been to that one. It's the wrong side of the city centre for me.

This one is truly fucking amazing AND MORE! And I don’t really like EITHER of them!

Narrowly missed out on points from me, probably only because I prefer "Work" (Freemasons remix obvs) and was annoyed that I hadn't nominated it.

When Yvette Fielding brought Melanie Thornton back from the dead on an unaired Eurodance themed episode of Most Haunted (they didn't realise Gina G wasn't dead) no one could have predicted the lungs out of La Bouche would have picked Kelly Rowland as her vessel. When Love Takes Over is still gorge.

"Feels like I waited so long for this. I wonder if it shows"

I didn't give this points, but it's still very good. Could do with a few MLK speeches over the top of it, but I'm sure David will deliver soon enough.

It's just down from Piccadilly, on a side street. They fired me because I facetiously told the other chef that she should try using disinfectant once in a while because smearing shit on the walls wasn't what I would consider adequate cleaning. When I worked on Portland Street, it ended up being my local.

It's Norther Quarter adjacent, isn't it? I only go to the Northern Quarter when I've already had a few and someone who thinks that they're going to be permitted to get a train from Piccadilly insists. For some reason, I always forget the names of the pubs that we've been to.
