Moopy's Past Events sub-forums - NOW LIVE!

Hello lovely Moopers

In recognition of the amount of work that goes into Moopy games, syncs and playlists, your admin and mod team has created some new sub-forums to archive these threads so they don't get lost in the ether never to be seen again.

The sub-forums can be located under 'Moopy Moop' and are split into the following categories:

• A Song For Moopy
• Eurovision Again
• Moopy Karaoke
• Sync listens and watches
• Moopy Games

We've started collating threads from lockdown in there with a view to expanding the collection over time. Please don't be mad if we've missed your game or event, it's a bit of a bitch to find the threads - just let us know and we'll add it.

The threads will also remain in the forums where they were originally posted - you'll just also be able to find them in the archive forums, too.

We discussed that but I’ve just moved the individual threads from it and redirected back to the MoopyFate folder so it’s in both places at once.

I guess Moopyfate looks a little like an anachronism with this now. But I don't think creating the same is necessary for all the new events.

Oh yeah, all events from now on will just be redirected to this forum for posterity. They’ll still exist in whichever forum they were created in.

Yes, I'm inclined to think the same - and then I'd consider moving moopyfate into it.

If it's to remain as redirects then I'd favour Phoenix's suggestion of moving it down the list, because a dead forum up there just doesn't look right.

Yes, I can see the logic of doing the same, thinking about it.

I still think moopyfate sitting outside of it is a little odd, though. But changing that would mean cancelling that forum, moving the threads and then setting up redirects, I suppose.

We did have the discussion about where it should go and the majority thought below Moopy Moop. I'm indifferent, personally, but I can see that aesthetically it looks better at the bottom. However it felt a bit sad dumping it at the bottom unceremoniously given that it's meant to be acknowledgement of the hard work that goes into events

Moopyfate: I think we should delete the forum. Move the threads to Moopy Moop, have the redirects in the games forum. There isn't much of a purpose for it anymore.

Where the forum is: I could put it sub of Moopy Moop, but then you wouldn't be able to click on the individual forums from there (because it'd be subforum of a subforum so wouldn't show on the main screen). That's not great, but could be preferable to seeing a dead forum.
