Moopyvision 2010-2019 Round 2: Estonia, Italy & North Macedonia - RESULTS! (1 Viewer)

I'm pretty sure We Came From The Sun is not an Estonian entry. It's on the Spotify list.

Done. Estonia and especially Italy have some amazing songs in there.

:D We had to get through them sometime. I'll leave a nice gap before we get to the horrors of LITHUANIA :zombie:

emma and elina ftw.

kinda gutted only the top songs go through (if i haven't misread/understood the rules once again).

The voting system is a little confusing at first, just rank your songs in order and @VoR can do the rest.

You need to skip the 7 from standard Eurovision points (and the 5 for countries like Italy that missed a year)

You're using the template for Estonia and North Macedonia for Italy. Italy has one fewer entry because they didn't compete in 2010. It's OK, I can figure out your order from the points you gave and adjust.

Done.

Poor Macedonia, Lost and Found is really only listenable in pure song form where of course it's 10/10, but everything about that staging. CHRIST. The only consolation is you knew it was coming. It's such a peculiar multi-layered pop song though, I very much doubt any country could have made it work. All the hooks are completely lost for a start.

Got me wondering which countries are going to be more of a slog than that, at least Macedonia have two corkers and some mildly amusing quirks. Do Lithuania have anything of the sort? :zombie: I imagine Portugal to be quite the slog as well

Portugal has QUEEN OF PIMBA SUZY thankyouverymuch

Lithuania will be... challenging but they've not been totally worthless. The two Donny Montell entries are alright.

Donny is one of my most re-visited songs of the 2016 contest and “When We’re Old” is really pretty good too.

I think we can all be thankful that Portugal sat out of two years!

Lithuania is the only one I'm more worried about I think. How to you rank a sea of beige?

Apparently When We're Old lady is now separated from her husband.

Love is a lie :(

21 votes, which is up on last week. :disco:

All complete votes too, so I think I'll drop the top 5 option moving forwards if there's no major objections?

People can still pick and choose the countries though - we had three voters who abstained from Macedonia :D

I'm out for the afternoon so I'll do the results later this evening. Any last minute votes are welcome.

The top 5 thing is fine with me. I think I'd rather concentrate on doing full votes for the countries I want to vote for, and then not bothering at all with the others, rather than incomplete sets for all.

Slim pickings though. I'm loving how this is reminding me of everything pre-2017, most of which I don't remember in the first place..

I forgot Lithuania's drippy bridge song, that was alright.

portugal is one of my faves! shame vania and more importantly flor-de-lis were more than 10 years ago now.

anyway, i've been listening to la mia citta and no degree of separation. still lovely.

macedonia on the other hand are painfully shit.

I'm worried VoR is going to start late the 8 hours reveal, we need to sleep.

VoR called me and said he was 12 pints down in a Leeds Wetherspoons and isn’t stopping anytime soon, so has asked me to do the votes for him so gonna make this QUICK! First up, Esthonia
