Replay didn’t half sound DUFF when I rewatched the performance. Not that I bothered to vote this week. So very very very busy with my terribly important projects :)
 
Btw, we are in the top 3 and Moopy didn't give a single 12 yet, it must be a first we pretty much agree.

Cyprus going COCK ROCK wasn't a look I think anybody was banking on back in 2016, or indeed ever. This is quite rousing though, I guess. We wouldn't blink twice if it had come out of Turkey a few years earlier, and I guess they are neighbours...

I'd forgotten how hard to watch that stage show is though, with all the weird subliminal wolf shots and aggressive lighting. BIT MUCH DEARS.

Not one for me, or Moopy in general I assume, but at the upper tier of its genre for me in terms of Eurovision songs.

I quite liked this. I also quite liked Eyes That Never Lie so you can tell I'm a REAL MUSIC ENTHUSIAST.

In which Cyprus wisely realised that with their neighbours in Greece circling the drain, there was a massive USP for slutty balkan bangers ripe for the taking. Everything about this is of course a complete tacit acknowledgement that Fuego was very very good and everyone wanted more please. No complaints here!

Tamta herself is no Eleni, mind. She always gave me weird 'slutty Debbie McGee' vibes. Still, she was clearly a game old bird - I just hope that outfit was worth the yeast infection.

Cyprus could send a variation on this every year forevermore and I suspect there'd be no great complaints. Sadly they've gone for a MAN this year so naturally I fear the worst.

Fun / disturbing fact - Tamta has a 25 year old daughter, who I imagine will be discussing this performance in therapy for many years to come.

That outfit clearly falls on the wrong side of the hot/ridiculous divide. I'm just a fan of top quality pop music.

I dare say Replay would have won had Fuego not existed. But then, I dare say Merrill would have been a global phenomenon had the rest of the Osmonds died at birth. We'll just never know.
