I have to say I like them both a lot, and they both deserved to do much better than they did. I do think Never Give Up On You is the strongest song we’ve sent since Imaani, everything about it was correct.

I think I prefer the songs Never Give Up On You vs I Can pretty much equally.
But NGUOY showed that the UK can actually pull off effective and interesting staging, and I also see it as a SOMEWHAT back-door Remain anthem so my vote will always end up with Lucie.

Only five of mine qualified, but I knew that Lithuania and Montenegro especially would be long shots. Delighted that the Polish shite rightfully came last!

As for Blue vs. Lucie, I think we (lolly) made the right choice. I love them both but I think Blue were the ones more robbed of a better result/top 10 placing - I mean, it's not every day that the televote puts us top 5!
