Moopyvision FINAL - RESULTS TONIGHT 8pm

It's sad we had to part ways for Moopyvision Karaoke going forward, but I do wish them all the best

Everyone thinking this was happening last Wednesday

It'll happen when it happens.

I made some good progress with the results show yesterday, but I really am snatching time to work on it in between an incredibly busy day job, editing a weekly podcast and y'know, the need to have an actual life.

Really hoping to have the results show ready to go this week, but I'm not promising anything.

@VoR what is your podcast? I’m sure you’ve mentioned before but I can’t remember x

UPDATE

Last night I got through the main part of editing the results show. I still have a bit of post-production to do and my bank holiday weekend is pretty packed so don't get your hopes up just yet, but it's coming. :disco:

Are we getting a hosting turn from some sexual minority wildlife? Because I know someone who's available :tongueout:

A certain somebody just liked one of my posts from deep in the Eurovision 2012 live watch topic, so I'm inclined to believe there is some DEEP RESEARCH currently being done and we're all in for a very informative spectacular :disco:

Should I start a sombre Moopy Shine A Light thread since this was cancelled
I’ve had a word with Jon Ola and Israel’s 2002 entry is to be re-released as “Light A Candle (For VoR)”

I'm still working on it!

I'm truly sorry, but right now I get, like, one evening free for every six that I'm working until the early hours of the morning on one thing or another.

It'll happen, and it'll be worth it, I promise.

So while you were all re-living Eurovision 2005, I was slogging my way through the post-production job for this and I'm excited to announce that we're NEARLY THERE :disco:

OMG

IT'S DONE

After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I have edited together a 45 minute results EXTRAVAGANZA which I really hope doesn't get pulled by YouTube.

So now the big question - WHEN DO YOU GUYS WANT IT?

If there's a risk of youtube pulling it, presumably sooner rather than later?

If there's a risk of youtube pulling it, presumably sooner rather than later?

I haven't put it on YouTube yet, but it's sitting in iMovie ready to go once there's a confirmed view party window.

In the worst case scenario I can pretty easily pull together a slimmed down version that's less likely to be flagged.

WELL DONE VoR! :emoji_tada:

I don't know when is the best time to show it

I gather Kalavision is tonight, and obviously I don't want to tread on any toes for something that's been equally long-gestating.

I have to host a pub quiz tomorrow night, but Tuesday-Thursday evenings are all feasible. Next Saturday is likely too.

If I can give one tip, it's to upload it a decent amount of time before you plan to show it - as much as 24 hours if possible, because copyright flags don't always show up right away on YouTube. I found this out the hard way during the karaoke contests! Do it early and you'll know whether you have to change things or try out Vimeo etc as an alternative.
