392 Scarlet - Independent Love Song (1995)
I know for a fact this will get Moopy pulses racing. A lady power ballad about wanking, not the first or last, but for my reckoning the best. Another file under "why has this not stayed in public consciousness?" section of my fantasy record store, I was going to set up with @WiDGe->
What a run of CLASSIQUES!
100% Pure Love is of course amazing and actually an even better song than Gypsy Woman, but fair play to her for managing a genuine follow up after THAT big single in a world when one-hit-wonder divas were a-plenty. 100% was a huge hit in the States, so there's that.
Oh God yes, let's have a momentAnd Relax is phenomenal too! I love her
367 Disclosure ft Sam Smith - Latch (2012)
The only acceptable reason to listen to Sam Smith. I really do like this mid tempo house bop, but looking back it was a step towards the horrors of Tropical House that musically haunted the decade.
A NEW GENERATIONAF RIK UH
I'd love to see her make a comeback, if Louise can get stuff out there then so can Dina. She was more than capable of putting her voice down on a dance track. Based on that she could easily put her voice on anything.I love Dina & Don't Be A Stranger is a wonderful signature song, sadly it doesn't even get much radio play on the nostalgia stations nowI'd love to see her make a comeback, if Louise can get stuff out there then so can Dina.

) meets Welsh granddad Jones, most famous for belting out for huge ballads in the 60s. What a result, @ButterTart is still on medication recovering. I always assumed the verses were sung by someone else, but no it was Tom himself, singing in a different register. Impressive stuff
361 Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus - Nothing Breaks Like a Heart (2018)
Thank God for Miley, who every few years releases a huge hook laden pop track in an era when hooks are rare or underwhelming.
Flowers for Ronson too.
It was a big hit here. #2, huge radio play.Should have been huge. This song is excellent
358 Carly Rae Jepsen - Party For One (2019)
(or self empowerment if you're @disneyteletubby)
