Mylenium Tour Vinyl Box Set

Having decided I didn't need it, succumbed to this when I'd had a glass of wine on Friday night (thankfully with some cash I had lying around from a cashback site) and arrived from FNAC just now:

Following the Avant Que L'ombre box set that did something similar, it's got the Innamoramento studio album, the Mylenium Tour live album, four 12"s of remixes of the singles and then the six singles on 7", as well as a reproduction of bits like the tour programme and access all areas pass.

It's actually beautifully done, though the only annoyance is they insist on using exclusive (BORING) packaging for the albums to try and stop those with the originals with the proper artwork shifting them on, but it's a minor gripe for what is my absolute favourite era.

I do think the tour itself doesn’t lend itself well to a live album without the visuals- a lot of it is quite sedate and not the bangers I’d normally prefer- but I enjoyed a play through today. Been quite a while since I played the DVD or CD themselves.

The remix 12”s were fun!
