Name 3 countries in Asia you'd like to visit

I've never been to Asia but Cambodia, China and Thailand. Culturally all quite appealing. India too, but there's so much I couldn't cope with.

I always think I've seen a fair bit of Asia but then I look at how huge it is and realise I've not seen much of it at all!

Anyway, my top 3 would be:

1. India
2. Thailand
3. South Korea

Already been to Thailand, which I LOVED and want to go back to.
I suppose also Malaysia (Borneo) in particular, Japan and Vietnam

Yeah I have some friends who swear by Vietnam and they go every year ....

Hardest one.

Cambodia, Laos, South Korea.

Runners up: Indonesia. Sri lanka, Myanmar.

I've not been to Thailand but fuck Thailand.

Japan, India, Vietnam (especially for gardens and plantations) 🇯🇵🇮🇳🇻🇳

(The next 3 - probably Nepal, The Philippines, Thailand) 🇳🇵🇵🇭🇹🇭

(I have been to Sri-Lanka, might be going this year, and have stopped/layover in the Maldives and Singapore before) 🇱🇰🇲🇻🇸🇬

I didn't even consider Iran, but I'm GENUINELY fascinated by Iran. And my goodness Iranian men.

Omg I've lived in the first two, I think the third is my 'most visited' country, and I spent two months traipsing around the fourth! I have also almost died in 3/4. :disco: I would very much like to rubber stamp these choices - hit me up if you ever make it EAST!

Anyway, to the matter at hand, having lived on this continent for most of my adult life now, I'm kinda RUNNING OUT. I guess:

Tajikistan - confident this will happen in the next 12 months
Bhutan - if it weren't for exorbitant costs and the stymieing of adventure
Iran - if it weren't for [insert endless list of grievances]

Jordan is another that's up there and tbh far more likely than the latter two. I mean, the historian in me would happily backpack across the entire Middle East if things were different... alas. I shoulda been born a century earlier so I coulda been a more outré T.E. Lawrence or sth.

I went back to Lebanon this week for three days and I just came back. So I’m still a bit emosh and don’t read too much into this but it’s such a special little gem in this world 🥺
