There was a special one off acoustic gig announced for Liverpool cathedral on August 29th which would have been amazing, with tickets going on sale next week. I had another look today and it seems to have mysteriously disappeared

It felt a bit too frothy for my tastes so I wouldn’t actively seek it out but wouldn’t skip it if it came on a playlist. Still hoping the album delivers something less predictable.

But I appreciate the Des'ree callback, and we'd have all been underwhelmed with another plain bright and breezy, so good for her.

I loved it! It’s interesting and fun. But, just like the album cover, I think the bit of humor she uses to treat the subject doesn't translate well for people who don't follow her closely. Some people take it seriously, as if it were actually meant to be technological or futuristic. Oh well...

I see she's supporting Sir Tom Jones at a stadium gig in Gloucester this weekend. I've had at least three emails offering me admin fee only tickets. Hopefully there will be a decent crowd for her. I imagine his fans are the sort to turn up early.

I never thought I’d see the day Natalie would come to Gloucester

On the video, I see what they were trying to do, however all the flashing images just made me slightly queasy. Shame as I love the song
