They said that there were only a few inches of visibility and that the bottom was littered with trees and trash so it could take up to a week to find the body.

It's a large reservoir isn't it? Bit different from a small lake in a park.

Usually a body floats after a few days submerged.

Ah that would make sense if the body was caught up in a lot of debris. :(

I don't think it needs to be caught up. Bodies usually sink. It's only as they putrefy and various gases are release that they float.

I know it isn’t the size of a lake in a park, but it is still only an area of a couple of miles in length which would make you think if there was a dead body it would have been found floating in the space of 12+ hours.

But it won't float yet. And it's a big lake in terms of searching the bottom.

It’s only 11 am in California, and, unfortunately, I don’t think they would have been able to do an extensive search before daybreak this morning. I don’t think anyone is optimistic, but hopefully they have a more productive search today.
 
I can’t bear to think about this any more. For some reason the story haunted me. Just imagining that poor little boy. He’s old enough to understand and that makes it even more heartbreaking.

She was but honestly really only became more of a developed character from season two onwards. Santana and Brittany were framed mostly as the bitchy cheerleader’s henchmen for the first series.
 
TMZ have said it’s her. And they are usually pretty accurate on stuff like this.
What’s really chilling is that today is the anniversary of Cory Montieth’s death.
 
They’re saying that they were in the water, the boat started drifting and she managed to muster up enough energy to push her son back onto the boat, but when he looked down he saw her going under and she never reappeared. :(
 
I never usually get that affected by celebrity deaths because, I didn’t know any of them personally.

I wasn’t even a huge fan of Glee, but I guess the whole circumstances around her death are so awful that I actually feel quite sad about it.
