New album rumours

I think part of the issue is the music world at large being so fluid at all times now. She was a master at seeing the new trend coming and riding it at the earliest so she maximized her success.

I'm pretty sure no one is expecting that outside of extreme gay niche fringe culture... which I guess Moopy is.

I found more to like on Madame X than anything she'd done since Confessions, but it still had some pretty cringey moments. I suppose that just comes with the territory with her nowadays though.
 
She's always been dorky though.. I mean she's had cringey moments from the very beginning, including but not limited to Jimmy Jimmy, Love Makes The World Go Round, I'm Going Bananas, etc. maybe even the likes of Where Life Begins and the American Life rap (nailed it) etc. etc.

I personally didn't think the problem with Madame X were cringey moments (although I I can see why one would think there were). It was more the unnecessary autotune and lack of editing. The individual songs and the album itself were all too long and needed a third producer to tighten the whole thing up.

This is very true but I think they are less focused on because there are massive songs/eras that help buffer them.
 
The material on Madame X was fine but i mainly couldn’t deal with the vox and autotune.
 
I brought up how awful the autotune was at the time and everyone just kept saying that it was "deliberate". I'm not sure why that's supposed to make it better. I'd much rather see artists using AI generated vocals than autotune.

But it just wasn’t to my taste

I think that could seriously happen. Although I suspect the result might be kinda awful.
 
I would be absolutely interested in a Madonna song titled "Uh!" Can you imagine the lyrical content?
