The universe’s almost complete rejection of western girl and boy groups since about 2005 - when K-Pop has absolutely THRIVED - is something that should be studied

Sure there has been a lack of musical direction from pretty much all of them, or where musical direction exists a complete lack of bangers (hello Flo, sorry dub)

I do wonder what would happen if someone put out a group that genuinely felt special and had genuinely good music, and whether it would actually work
