OK the album is a fucking slay top to bottom (except that one awful song). the way every song bleeds into the next is delightful.

sHould I Bop? is the one.
 
The vocals are definitely challenging, but I will give it a go. Starting with Say Something as that is on NMF.
 
Loving the new Gorillaz. Damon on a sweet sounding electro ballad:



The previous singles have mainly been great as well, still Stevie Nicks and Beck features to come on the album.
 
Yeah Gorillaz definitely in a return to form at the moment. All the last few songs have been on my radar.
 
Self Esteem raving it up with Django Django:



Great, though I wouldn't say no to a tighter edit.

I played the Joesef album again on Sunday morning and enjoyed it much more. I think maybe being frontloaded with so many of the singles threw me off. I see that the album did chart in the top 20, but it didn't seem to have buzz around it.
 
Not as good as the DRAMA collaboration but fair enough. Not sure if these songs are heading towards another album:

Everything about this is is rather good, apart from the vocal which is a bit weedy - sometimes he sounds like a male Tate McRae:

 
I don’t think they ever don’t work with Fiora although weird we haven’t had any tracks with her yet. The last album was magical!
 
I don't know anything about her, other than she was on Dopamine with PDM but this is some catchy shit:



The Aces back with a big chorus and a ridiculous guitar solo:



The new Glume album has much to recommend but Brittany is especially good. Shades of Twin Peaks and a Lana tribute... FUCK:

both songs from Kali's album so far have been... boring.
 
I like that Elderbrook one more than the last couple. It was starting to get a bit samey.

The Kali singles have worked for me. Loving Hot Sauce too!

Nothing on The Paper Kites except that they're working in it and more singles are planned.

Tensnake announced on 7th February that the album is done but no news on a date yet.

Fans of Bicep, Fred Again etc might like this. Very uplifting. I think it's been out a few weeks but was on a recent EP

 
New Tame. They never miss, but it normally takes me a few weeks to decide if it's truly special. Still saving this for now.

 
I bloody love this! I hope there's an album coming, I can't remember if I saw it on the schedule.

quite nice, but nothing Fred again hasn't done much better with the voice memos and pitched vocal samples imo. still, into my playlist

I'm not that familiar with Jake Isaac but this Jack Savoretti feature is rather good. Their voices are actually quite similiar and blend really well:

I'm interested to hear where he goes next. He started out Americana and US songwriter influenced but the last two albums have been very seventies and eighties European pop. I do wonder if things will be changed up for the next one.

Tessa Violet's new one is a spiky pop punky thing:



I loved the remixes of Crush and I Like the Idea of You a few years back. I think this is the most striking thing she has done since them.
