the sentiment is not wrong but god that video is DULL :D
May have helped if PM had been in it at all, as opposed to just sending a voice note? :D

Agree, the sentiment is fine (albeit she is a wolf in sheep’s clothing ).

It will be Mordaunt who Labour will fear the most - strong classic Tory candidate with brexit credentials who will feel like a fresh start.

Sunak, Javid and Truss all varying flavours of incompetent that won’t trouble the opposition. Sunak can’t think on his feet, Javid is an appalling communicator and Truss is thick as mince.

Mordaunt will pick up the moderate support as others drop out (Hunt/Tugendhat), hard to know where the others will fall.

I expect it’ll be a relative moderate vs. batshit final two. With the membership going for the least appropriate candidate.

Her voice over at the ended sounded like a VOICEMAIL.

And she's now SECOND FAVOURITE!

Exactly. Mordaunt's video is much better than Sunak's and will really hit the spot with the membership, probably more than his.

Obviously, they're objectively both dire pieces of propaganda :D

It’s aimed squarely at the membership. They’ll lap this shit up.

Oh I know I'm not the target. It doesn't stop being FUCKING TERRIBLE and probably a BIT FRIGHTENING.

What a horrible state of affairs when bills are going up at a rapid pace that one of the centrepiece arguments is how transphobic you are.

FUCK OFF FUCK OFF FUCK OFF

Mordaunt is defintely the one we don't want in the sense that she'd have a very good chance of winning the next election. Total Thatcher vibes.

However I'd be equally if not more terrified of a Prime Minister who pushed the party further to the far right (i.e. Braverman or Badenoch). Lest we forget, many thought that the Tea Party movement would render the Republican party unelectable back in the day. Now it's obvious they were just the tip of the iceberg.

Penny's getting absolutely monstered by the TERFs for that thread because of her previous comments and because she says trans people can legally transition. Guess that backfired :D

Fucking scumbag Tories. What have we done to deserve such monsters in position of power?

I was being hyperbolic before when I suggested Wallace might be pro-death penalty, but it’s a real risk with the likes of Sue Ellen.

Suspect Morduant wins if that is the final run-off

Only thought is that Sunak may not be very transfer friendly as others drop out

Is it bad to be backing Sunak even though he’s terrible? Maybe I lost track but he’s not been the same type of TERFy terrible or bonkers terrible as some of the others.

And seems like a really unlikeable cunt which is what we want for the GE

Sunak is an arch-Brexiteer. He was banging on about Freeports a decade ago long before Johnson wrote his two articles.
