They've just made Mario Kart World online worse. It used to be if you picked random, you'd be guaranteed a proper three lap race. Now, it has a 3 in 4 chance of picking one of the offered intermission tracks, so it is much much harder to get a PROPER RACE :angry:
 
I've got all the cups won with 3 stars except the final one. Kind of wish there was a clear path of achievements to accomplish in order to unlock all the drivers. There is a circle at the bottom of Peach's castle that has 4 meal items to just skid in a circle collecting and using to quickly get the outfits per character in free roam mode (you can also see how many outfits everyone has via the map and clicking on the icon they have).

I thought it was just based on the number of coins collected?
 
Donkey Kong Bananza getting a 10/10 from IGN.

The 2D throwback to the original SNES DKC makes me hope we'll get thrown a remake in the same style at some point down the line as it looks (and sounds) bloody gorgeous.
 
Oh my god. I just don't have time to play this. Kind of wish this was my launch title alongside MKW as its totally giving me the new experience I was craving. However, I've no time to play it until either very late tonight or tomorrow, or worse Sunday. Whatever they have planned for 3D Mario must be exceptional as this is going beyond what the team have done so far.

If they do a regular presentation next week, then my feelings will be quite different, but I want the system-selling games now.

On DKB, I'm 'down' to the layer with lightning. I was loving the beach level and made the mistake of diving down. Perhaps if the next layer eases off I'll make my return and go for more bananas. I think it's absolutely terrific.

Thankfully I hella want this, but they do need a proper Direct.

I should also think about selling my GameCube games at this point.

Whether backwards compatible or not, imagine releasing the HD remaster for both Galaxy games on only Switch 1. Only Nintendo can do this nonsense.
 
Well I've pre-ordered the Virtual Boy peripheral. They really should just had let us play it on the TV. It's still such a wasted opportunity not to have brought it to the 3DS of course.
 
We're also getting Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y. I hope they're actually competitively viable because a Raichu revival is a LONG time coming.

Nothing about Switch 2 has excited me yet, but I just realised I had enough reward points from my work recognition programme to get one for FREE, so that's been ordered! :disco:

They better release some actual exciting games soon (i.e. more Zelda, but none of that Hyrule Warriors shit).
