Day off waiting for two deliveries.

Giant truck blocking the drive. Seething, but trying not to go out and have a word.
 
Well, this is going every bit as terribly as I expected. It’s too noisy to concentrate, I’ve had to cancel every meeting I had booked because they couldn’t get me somewhere private, and the employer I’m here to look after is unhappy with the office they’ve given him and wants to do the interviews on his own premises. I’m supposed to be back in tomorrow but the way it’s looking I think I might cancel.

Today is the last HOT AS FUCK day for a while, so I'm off to lie in a park for a bit.
 
My hay fever has FLOORED ME today. I just nipped to Asda and I nearly DIED.

Yes, everywhere since September 2020. Masks remain mandatory everywhere indoors and some places outdoors (big gatherings, markets, stadia, etc.)
 
Because my pappy lives in Canada, I've got used to being early with this one. The selection of cards this year were bloody awful; why do Hallmark think that being a father is just beer and golf?

Wank isn't it. Thankfully I found a steam train one. I've probably already sent him the exact same one another year, but hopefully he won't remember (or mind).

Omg I was talking to a colleague and complaining about something and she just responded with story about herself that has nothing to do with anything. She does this all the time, I’m amazed at how self centered she is.
 
My next reading project is this 300 page THRILLER
