No Wednesday for me, thanks

To be fair we were talking about Fathers day last week and 23 year old employee said I didn't look or act like a Dad. Joys of never growing up.

it's not even funny :( I was going to work from home for the rest of the week but I might have to go in just for the air con

It’s 26 here with humidity and I’ve had to shut the windows to stop my imminent death.

I might pop another cetirizine (because apparently I’m a CHEMSEX QUEEN now) and see if that clears things up.

It’s going to be 34 here on Friday. I like the heat but that’s too much

We‘ve had up to 36 back home over the past couple of years. Throw in humidity, in the middle of the country with no breeze and in a house that’s supposed to retain heat, I love it! :disco:

Oh I need to plan that. Any TIPS??
Not especially!

I tried to use fairly interesting words, spreading them evenly across the players' word lists. Obviously, dump a few tricky ones in. I gave the lists out randomly, no point in deliberately sabotaging anyone. In terms of collating scores, I did it as it happened as much as possible. Pretty sure I was never 100% accurate, but I gave it my best shot. There are literally HUNDREDS of points flying around.

These were the words from last time:

No rain here yet, which would be typical given I've hurriedly re-felted my shed roof in preparation.

It's so humid.

All fans in the front room, all windows open.

Make it stop.

The rain just poured down here and my storm headache instantly went. I wonder if that’s all we’re getting.

Finding "fancy expensive salon" so I can hopefully find out stuff like what type of hair I have and what would work with it. Simple modern approach: first one on Google in my town. 5 star reviews, online booking etc...

All very surreal to me! Who you see is literally labelled "menu" then there's stylist, senior stylist, something else and director (most expensive, though not as bad as I thought, £38 for gents, too bad if you're a lady as it's £50). Erm, any salon experts here lol, I'm thinking just splash out on the director? I need to be directed. Or would I get there and they're like "that's for a discussion only, you're going to need to see a stylist next"?

Usually the director is the top/head stylist.

I'd have thought any of the stylists would be okay. All of them will be able to advise you.

I didn't go to a proper salon until I was in my mid twenties. Until then I'd only ever gone to barbers and had a trim. I had thick wavy hair then ( :( ), and it made an absolute world of difference having a proper style cut, rather than my hair simply being longer or shorter.

The main reason I went to that salon was because the young guy who used to wash my hair was hot as fuck though. Having him do that was better than a hand job.
