Lest we forget Spirit In The Sky won Norway's national final by a LANDSLIDE.

Does the country at LARGE feel wronged by what the juries did to KEiiNO in 2019? Is there a general BLOOD LUST for Eurovision REVENGE..? Spill the T gods of Odin :disco:

Following LAST NIGHT's rediscovery, I honestly think had this been an entry for Denmark in a year that wasn't 2020 it probably would have come top 3 at Eurovision :D



I mean HIGHER GROUND smashed the televote and served MUCH LESS, never mind a FLAMING HAND!

Only if he had dancers who were anywhere near to being in sync with each other.
 
OMG, This most win MGP and by a landslide. Is this better then spirit don't know at the moment. It is definitely not the same. Too early to call it the winner of 2021, but this would have won 2020 by a very large margin.
 
A little more detail about format for tonight:

The four acts will be split into two duelling pairs. The public will vote for their favourite in each duel, with the two winners progressing to the “Gold Duel”. The public will then vote once more. The winner of the gold duel will win the semi-final and qualify directly to the grand final. The eliminated acts will remain in contention for a wildcard spot in the final, which will be decided later on in the season.

In addition to the duels, two pre-qualified acts will perform their entries:

  • KEiiNO “Monument”
  • Tix “Ut av mørket”
 
Think that's the same format as last week. I've never been a huge fan of duels, but that's mainly due to the Great Andra Chansen Trauma of 2011.

Are people going to watch this live, or Lithuania, or both, or neither?

Normally I don't both bother with semi-finals apart from Sweden, but it's not like there's much else to do.

I always think One Last Time is what Higher Ground could have been, if Rasmussen hadn't had a voice like a budgerigar's queef.
