this is really the Sophie’s Choice here, for me. Monument is very beautiful but I feel like the staging will only ever lead to disappointment, whereas the presentation of Hero is just phenomenal.

Monument remains both my personal favourite and what I think is most likely to win. Norwegians are surely still reeling from 2019 (it was #1 on Popjustice!) and I'm positive there'll be an upgrade to the staging on finale night.

Realistically I think TIX is their biggest competition. Hero, while obviously fabulous, I can see limping in at a disappointing 4th or 5th position on the night.

Deeply disappointed with Rein. Very much team KEiiNO now (well, second choice behind Big Daddy winning the second chance and snatching overall victory too), Monument has grown loads with repeated plays and it feels like them coming back for revenge and to put the juries in their place. Wouldn't be too mad if TIX takes it though, his performance is the sort of overblown nonsense that I live for.

Either way I assume that's between Elevate and Psycho although neither will trouble first place

It's a 10/10 performance of an 8/10 song, but Monuments is (currently) a 5/10 performance of a 12455/10 song. So, subtracting one from the other, Hero is on 2 and Monuments is on 12450. It's just basic maths.

There's precedent; Rein Alexander had the greatest national final song of all time last year (I mean, apart from basically everything in Finland 2015 and 2016 that didn't win), and he didn't even come close.
