has anyone seen this on Netflix? I finally gave it a go and I'm so happy I did. beautiful film about two guys who meet in the 70s at a cinema that's a secret gay hookup spot, the different turns their lives take from there and the sliding doors moments that follow across their lifetimes.
the two leads have properly gorgeous chemistry and the script is really sensitively written. the Italians know how to do this shit.
also, not a spoiler but the narrative takes place over many years and the lead (aged 23) is well into his 60s by the end of the film
they do their best with the prosthetics but let's just say you'll never see a more gorgeously youthful set of 60 somethings on screen. it's a scream. anyway, wonderful film.
