It was weird during the live launch show to not give anything away when you're song comes on, especially if people are slagging it off and all you want to do is go around punching people in the neck for their ingratitude.

I stayed dead quiet for the duration of my song, I think. Conspicuous in itself because I was such a gobshite for the rest of it.

It was interesting. Everyone was super brutal at that point - my song (which came 3rd in case I haven't mentioned it) was slated - then by a week later everyone seemed to like everything a lot more. I think that happens with Eurovision too to be fair.
