I keep checking my sent box to make sure a) it's the song I intended with the right info, and b) that it's still there :D

I always think anonymity is always best for these things as unintentionally or not I think people think oh I like that poster so I’ll give them some points instead of that person who I don’t know or interact with etc subconsciously.

Announcing finalists but not linking song seems ok though.

I'll be honest, when I voted in ASFM, I tried to remain as neutral as possible, and to a certain degree I did. However I just couldn't bring myself to vote for one of the songs based on the poster. Human neutrality is close to impossible.
 
My assumption of who was behind my top three ASFM choices - well, all but ONE of the ten actually - was completely wrong, but I’d still have voted in exactly the same way, had I known who the posters were. It’s not Moopyrate FFS, even if there is a certain flavour thereof :side-eye:

By the way @cwej that was a fabulous choice for ASFM and the album’s really rather good as well :disco:

but I do think Ag’s point is right. You might not even know it but we are totally influenced by everything we see, some more than others obviously.

I know that Suomi would have a bitch fit if I knew his song and gave him zero for example ;-) whereas because I didn’t know he didn’t mind at all. So I’d be unwittingly trying to keep the peace if i knew friends that were in it. (LOVE YOU SU XXX)

I did too. I actually think this way of revealing the eliminated people is GREAT though! Looking forward to that reveal too..

kala - are we getting ‘full results’ of the semis or just ‘these are the songs progressing to the final’ like in Eurovision. Personally the latter works better I think so that we’re not influenced to vote AGAINST the favourites in the final. What are you planning?
