OG Kalavision (No longer taking place)

There is NOTHING to tell at the moment, people are still sending in their songs. Until the deadline is over absolutely NOTHING is being revealed. You lot really are SO impatient!

I haven't worked out a schedule yet, because next week is kinda busy as there are EBU shows on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, plus I need preparation time to prepare videos for the live reveal shows of the entries. I could possibly manage semi 1 one on Monday and one on Wednesday, but then Allafestivalen is Wednesday, so I could maybe do semi 2 on Friday? But I know there is other stuff on, and I don't want to clash. The final would be a week on Friday then as again, I don't want to clash with a Eurovision watch. There is so much on now that it's hard to find a free space anywhere!

I don't think there's any need to rush them (unless you really want to), take your time!
 
Maybe we should wait until AFTER (what would have been) Eurovision week? I don't want to make next week TOO busy, plus I would like people to give Kalavision as much attention as they can!!

Well put it this way, I am busy next week most evenings. There's LOADS going on next week, we have ENOUGH to tide everyone over. The week after will be much quieter, and I have more time to devote to this.

We’re having the reveals during the week? I won’t be able to listen with everyone.

If midweek doesn’t suit everyone then maybe Sundays are best? Saturdays are no good because of Eurovision Again. Maybe a week on Sunday, then every Sunday for the following few weeks?

And no @Alla it won’t just be a YouTube playlist. I’m making an actual show of this.

No, Sundays are when we sit and wait for the Moopyvision decade results not to appear.
 
Also this is a contest with voting over a sustained period, we don't all have to be available at the same time!

Maybe the semis could be on consecutive Sundays, then have the final on the Wednesday after semi #2? If that would be enough time for the voting etc. It might help keep the momentum going better than doing everything over three weeks.

The FUCKING AUDACITY to come into ASFM and bemoan MY LACK OF TIME COMMITMENT and then drop shady shit like that while saying YOU DON'T HAVE THE TIME!
 
Kala, isn't it better something simple now than waiting for weeks for a video or something people won't really appreciate? Just think about it, maybe it's not worth it.

That timing had always seemed far too rushed though, we'd have needed to vote on the 41 qualifiers in a single week to hit Eurovision week! I personally don't see the rush with all this but understand other people have been raring to go for a while.

My engine is running as we speak. I’m sure I could wait IF I HAVE TO.
 
Kala PMed me last night to say he was getting his rule book out for the lads, and I am nervous that I'll have to have a last minute panic to choose an alternative song.

It will be a bigger fiasco than a Ukrainian national selection process.
