Transparency is key darling. If we KNEW you had a lot of personal stuff on and you made that clear as to why you are stretching this out then I am sure we would understand. By leaving us in the dark and having us push you for dates then OF COURSE you are going to get badgered. If you don’t want to do it, that is up to you. It’s a real shame though as this would have been a major success if we just knew what the FUCK was going on.

As I said I think what you’ve got planned sounds great, it just seemed like it was going to be a lot of work for you to get us there.

But I’ll shut up now, and please just run it to your timescale x

Kala said he just needs some space - he's got a lot going on at the minute which, understandably, means he's not able to devote as much time to Kalavision as he'd like to.

It's still happening, and as far as he's said there won't be any disruption to his timetable, but he has other priorities he needs to focus on for a few days. These threads are a lot to take on, but they aren't the reason he's having some time away.

Kala, people will always moan, and I don't even think most of us were moaning anyway. Me and some others were making drama but you know that; most just were asking sensible things. You're not going to be able to run this the way you're trying to do it. Yes, it would be great to have the greatest contest ever, with postcards, videos, live shows... but that's too much work and not even worth it. I've seen worse in some ESC forums, but this is Moopy and it won't be appreciated, and you don't have time for that, and you know it.
Please reconsider it, make it simple and everyone happy again. xxx
 
Oh dear :shy: I am sorry if my extremely gin-fuelled post on Thursday night contributed to this at all. I was just looking forward to it and frustrated that other Moopy things were threatening to get in the way. Personal things are of course very DIFFERENT.
 
@Kalabaliken Just take as much time as you need and do whatever you want to (and bin what you don’t want to do, or can’t do). None of this is the be-all and end-all, and there’s always wine and Pringles from the offy to keep the girls occupied and something else in the lounge to get hysterical about. By the way I was just being bored and silly a few pages back, honking on about the lack of tits out promo. It was, after all, me who had an issue with want want now now...

I was too engrossed in the drama everytime I entered the thread; I kind of forgot all about the song submission part

Some of us still haven’t got a country... or rather, I had a country but then it wasn’t allowed and then I was assigned another country but then something else come up...

Of course Kala's other priorities are Eurovision stuff on other forums. Don't mistake the situation. He took on more than he could deal with. And I quote Kala referring to ASFM (not a proper show apparently):

Sorry, didn’t really mean to sound too critical, but it’s been clear from the start that these all too rigid and complicated rules would only lead to a long and boring process, and especially stressful for Kala himself.
 
What is with the huge rush? We’ve got deadlines now and we’ve been given an official statement from Buttertart.
 
I’m out as well. Kala can obviously do without the stress (even if he did perhaps bite off more than he could chew) and TBH I’m not really in the mood for scraps and whatnot.

Are people impatient for another ASFM? Because it’s not like they are mutually exclusive.

How quickly can Festivali di San @Soldi get off the ground?

Lord, if we can handle half a dozen Eurovision rewatches a week, we can handle two song contests at the same time. They were always supposed to be distinct anyway
 
It certainly isn’t about having to wait a week and I’m certainly not pulling out for the drama. I’m just a bit post-hysteria at the moment and am rather worn out by it all so would rather officially withdraw so as not to waste anyone’s time and instead pop out to fondle cows and squirrels.
